High Energy Play Spaces {Indoors}

With the cooler than usual summer weather turning my thoughts to fall (argh, I know!) I’ve been mentally making lists of any and all indoor play places. Here is an updated list of bounce houses and high energy play spaces (think: run wild) in Lake County to help beat rainy day and cool weather blues!

Jump Zone {Volo}
Your kids will have a blast playing at a Jump!Zone Party and Play Center which features massive, themed inflatable slides, obstacle courses and bounce houses kids love, interactive games, toddler activities and more. This is one of our personal favorites, especially since Inflatable Fun in Volo closed. (Editor’s Note there is a location in Buffalo Grove as well}

Bella’s Bouncies (formerly My Jump Place) {Lake Villa}
Bella’s Bouncies is an indoor family fun center providing moonwalks, bounce houses, slides, obstacle courses, and a tunnel crawl through. They offer open jump play time, private parties, and open jump parties. Another bonus: free wifi and free popcorn! Also see Melissa’s birthday party review!

Pump it Up {Gurnee} Editor’s Note: Pump it Up Gurnee has Closed
Pump it Up offers a little bit more variety than just your traditional bounce house with interactive features like basketball courts, air guns that launch wiffle balls, and even an inflatable ski ball machine! There are two connected rooms of inflatable features for your little ones to explore. As well as open play time they also feature private party rentals, summer camp activities, and more.

Party Fantasy {Mundelein}
Party Fantasy isn’t simply a bounce house! This large indoor play spot features giant inflatables, rock climbing wall, go-karts (indoors and outdoors), video arcade, dance floor, toddler area, parent’s lounge and more! A great option when you have children of multiple ages to entertain as there is something for everyone to do.

Blast Zone {Vernon Hills}
Like Party Fantasy, the Blast Zone has many activities geared for entertaining school age and older kids. This unique play space features the turbo tub speedway (think bathtubs turned go-karts), trampoline jumping area, an inflatable obstacle course, bazooka ball blasters, and a three story tunnel maze.

Jump America {Gurnee}
Jump America has over 16,000 square feet of trampolines including two dodge-ball courts, a foam jumping pit, a kids zone, and more! This is an awesome facility designed for kids from age 3 and up. Jump America is great for adults, too. Also features birthdays, parties, day camps, schools, civic and community gatherings, and corporate events.
