The Museum’s Tinkering Tuesday program encourages children to do what they do best - let their curiosity take over! Explore the world of engineering by building machines and creating processes, and then explore what happens when you make changes or do things differently. Programming takes place approximately every other Tuesday from
2:30 – 4 p.m. on the Museum’s STEAM Cart at announced locations in the Museum exhibits.

January 5 & 19: Supporting Columns
How do columns support buildings? Discover and test the strength of columns.

February 2 & 16: Bounce, Spin, Bump
Construct a vibrating scribble machine and watch it bounce, spin, and bump on paper making a unique colorful design.

March 1, 15, & 29: Winding Roller Coasters
Explore momentum and build with ramps and other materials to examine the speed of a marble.
