It’s time to let your inner actor out with Theatre Games. Through a variety of creative dramatic exercises, we will explore gross and fine motor skills, problem solving, listening and speaking skills, following directions, and building confidence. Theater Games takes place Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.
December 18: What Statue Are You?
Have you ever seen a statue? Do you wonder how they are made? In this new game, make a statue out of your body, and others will try to guess exactly what you are doing.
January 8 & 15: Musical Marks
How does music make you feel? Do you want to skip, hop, or dance? How about draw? Today we use paper, one crayon, and our brains to create works of art based on how music makes us feel!
January 22 & 29: Imagination Marathon
It’s time to train for the Imagination Marathon. This week, we explore how to successfully train for and complete a marathon while running in place.
February 5 & 12: Fingerplay for All
It’s time for to revisit classic fingerplay rhymes! In this latest installment of KCM Theatre Games we shall start by exploring fingerplay classics such as Row Your Boatand Five Little Monkeys.

What is the history of that silly picture on the wall? Have you ever thought what YOUR story might be if you were in such a picture? Build a storyboard based on what you’ve done at our museum this very day!
