In view of Money Smart Week March 30 through April 6, 2019, this evening is designed for ages Pre-K-3rd graders and their caregivers to learn basic financial concepts of earning, saving, and using money in interactive fun ways. Practice financial skills in our “store”. We will read Count on Pablo, featured in the ALA Money as You Grow series. Copies will be given out as long as supply lasts. A discussion guide is included to take home. Adults can “Find Cash” with a rep from the State of Illinois Treasurer’s office. A local bank will also join us to demonstrate hands-on tools to help young children to learn financial concepts.
