Easter Basket Ideas for Young Children

Easter Basket Idea for Young Children

Easter is this weekend, have you gotten your goodies yet? Admittedly I am a last minute shopper for everything, so no I don’t have baskets yet. We asked on our Facebook Page for some ideas for Easter Baskets for Young Children. My family is in the middle of Spring cleaning and purging so so the thought of baskets full of little junky things is not high on my list. Here are the suggestions from you, plus a few of our tried and true favorites in our house:

1. Books

Books we’re a top suggestion and one of our favorites to give! One of our favorite Easter books is The Story of Easter by Patricia Pingry. It’s a pretty book and tells the story simply for young children. This year our focus was on easy readers for our new and emerging readers. Our girls are getting the Junior Novelization of Frozen (which is about the only Frozen merchandise we could find in stock anywhere!) and a Fancy Nancy I can Read Book.

2. Flashlights

3. Fun Candy

4. Sidewalk Chalk

Spring is coming! Let your little artist decorate the neighborhood with some new sidewalk chalk! Crayola has so many new and fun kits out. We got our 3 year old a bucket with rainbow making tools. My older kids still love the Crayola 3D Sidewalk Chalk they got last year.

5. Sunglasses

Toddler Sunglasses The days are longer, and brighter! Pick up some stylish and cute sunglasses! These adorable sunglasses are from Green Kids Resale {Round Lake Beach} and are new! They have a great selection of fun and colorful sunglasses for girls and boys!

6. Sweets
